Welcome to University Hall
University Hall is the newest Westfield State University residence hall and home to more than 400 students. Its unique design was inspired by the gorgeous trees surrounding campus. Located on the northern edge of the Campus Green next to the Ely Campus Center, you’ll have easy access to your classes as well as the library, bookstore, gym, pool, student services offices, and even a Dunkin’®—all within just a 5-minute walk from your room.
University Hall boasts modern and environmentally friendly facilities and provides phenomenal views of the Berkshires. In addition, the hall’s themed housing options grant first-year students the chance to live with a greater feeling of independence.

Your Room and Suite
University Hall offers four- and six-person suites with single, double, and “double-wide” room options—complete with all the residential living amenities you need. Each suite is furnished with a loft-able bed, desk, desk chair, dresser, and closet for each student. They also feature a shared living room, bathroom/s, and a kitchenette with full-size refrigerator.
*Double-wide rooms are the size of double rooms but feature a horizontal layout, unlike the traditional vertical layout.

Known as “The Campus Hotel,” University Hall features a large, elegant lobby that acts as an event space for award ceremonies, professional conferences, and social gatherings. Other common areas include study lounges at the end of each wing, and peaceful, vibrant study/social spaces in the five-story archway that looks out over the Campus Green.
