Turning Your Dual Enrollment Success into College Credit

Congratulations on taking an early step toward your college goals through Dual Enrollment! At Westfield State, we’re proud to support students who are already a step ahead. Now that you're ready to make the most of your hard work, we're here to help ensure your credits transfer smoothly and set you up for success.

Steps to Apply Your Dual Enrollment Credits

As a Dual Enrollment student, you’ve already started earning college credit, so it’s time to apply them toward your Westfield State degree! To ensure that your credits are applied to your student record, complete the following steps:

  1. Request an official transcript be sent from the college/university where you completed your courses.
    1. Please note: the transcript must be an official transcript – no unofficial transcripts will be accepted!
  2. Once the transcript is received, our staff will review the transcript and award any credits that you have received.
    1. Courses with a grade of C- or higher will transfer.
    2. Developmental basic-skills and high school level courses are not transferable.
  3. Once the credits have been applied, you will be able to review your degree audit through your myWestfield account.
    1. Any courses that you were previously registered for will be adjusted by the Registrar’s Office.
